              <p>Mixed convection over a horizontal flat plate leads to a breakdown when the fluid is cooled from below, so we propose to investigate the problem in the framework of "triple deck" theory. A new term in the pressure displacement relation, accounting for the hydrostatic pressure change across the main deck, appears from the analysis. The linearized solution given shows upstream influence.</p>

              <p>Les écoulements de convection thermique mixte sur une plaque plane présentent une singularité lorsque la plaque est plus froide que le fluide, aussi nous proposons d'examiner la naissance de cette singularité en mettant en oeuvre la technique de "triple couche". Un terme supplémentaire traduisant le nivellement barométrique et caractérisant l'interaction apparaît alors dans la relation pression -déviation. La solution du "problème canonique" mis en évidence est effectuée, elle montre l'influence de l'amont de l'écoulement sur l'aval.</p>
