In this paper, we propose a new feature selection approach for classification. This proposal is based on the use of typicality degrees, in order to highlight some pro-trotypical sub-parts for classes. Associated with an existing method of classification for 3D objects, its effectiveness is experimentally proved and allows a significant improvement of the prediction scores.

Dans cet article, une nouvelle approche de sélection d'attributs pour la classification est introduite. Elle est basée sur l'utilisation d'un degré de typicalité afin de mettre en avant des sous-parties prototypiques des classes. Combinéè a une méthode existante de classification supervisée d'objets 3D, son efficacité est va-lidée expérimentalement et permet une amélioration non négligeable des scores de prédiction.
