Dedicated to the sculptural group depicting the lovers described by Apuleius, the domus of Cupid and Psyche in Ancient Ostia still represents an interesting case study today, especially as regards its architectural evolution and design genesis. This contribution aims to update the state of the studies and provide a new interpretation given by the material evidence, from which it is possible to read the transformations that have taken place over time in the most famous domus in Ancient Ostia.
