La théâtralité dans l’ oeuvre de Luis Landero
Résumé
This article analyzes the narrative techniques of theatricality in several novels by the writer Luis Landero, focusing on the interrelational and identity aspect of the characters. It highlights the tendency of Landero's creatures to embody under the disguise of the simulacrum a wide range of professions of the theatrical world: scriptwriter, theater director, costume designer, but above all that of actor and spectator, when they involve them-selves in the performative and imaginary game of the desire to see and to be seen. Acting in a variety of social situations, the character constantly oscillates between being and appearing, subjecting himself to the social but also existential risk of the unmasking.
Este artículo analiza los recursos narrativos de la teatralidad en varias novelas del escritor Luis Landero focalizándose en el aspecto interrelacional e identitario de los personajes. Se destaca la tendencia de las criaturas landerianas a encarnar bajo el disfraz del simulacro un amplio abanico de profesiones del mundo teatral: guionista, director de teatro, vestuarista, pero sobre todo la de actor y de espectador, cuando se implican en el juego performativo e imaginario del deseo de ver y de ser visto. Actuando en una variedad de situaciones sociales, el personaje oscila constantemente entre ser y parecer sometiéndose al riesgo social pero también existencial del desenmascaramiento.
Cet article analyse les recours narratifs de la théâtralité dans plusieurs romans de l'écrivain Luis Landero, en soulignant l'aspect inter-relationnel et identitaire des personnages. Il met en évidence la tendance des personnages landériens à incarner sous le masque du simulacre un large éventail de professions du monde théâtral : scénariste, directeur de théâtre, créateur de costumes, mais surtout celle d’acteur et de spectateur, lorsqu’ils s’investissent dans le jeu performatif et imaginaire du désir de voir et d’être vu. Évoluant dans des situations sociales variées, le personnage oscille constamment entre l'être et le paraître, se soumettant au risque social mais surtout existentiel d’être démasqueé
