Les vecteurs quantité de mouvement ont été mesurés pour les ions et les électrons détectés en coïncidence par la technique de spectroscopie du moment avec un angle solide de détection de 4? stéradians

, En effet, la charge totale atteint (+7) après l'ionisation de l'argon en couche 1s, (+6) pour l'ionisation de CS 2 en couche S1s et jusqu'à (+15) pour CH 3 I après l'ionisation en couche I2s par l'absorption d'un seul photon. On note que la charge totale élevée produite dans CH 3 I est très proche de la charge créée dans un atome isolé avec un nombre identique d'électrons et de section efficace d'absorption similaire, Cela indique que les mécanismes de réarrangement électronique sont efficaces et rapides dans les systèmes polyatomiques

, L'étude de la distribution angulaire du photoélectron, issue de l'ionisation de l'argon en couche profonde proche du seuil d'ionisation d'1s, a mis en évidence une perturbation de la valeur du paramètre d'asymétrie ? du photoélectron causée par l'émission de l'électron Auger.
