Comparison of the Use of SQUID and Hall Effect Sensors in Nondestructive Testing

Résumé

In equipment for nondestructive testing using eddy currents, two magnetic sensors (Hall effect and SQUID) have been tested and compared. In parallel with experiments, a simple and efficient numerical analysis was developed. The two sensors were shown to be real competitors, since each has advantages and drawbacks. The numerical model also proved to be quite reliable.
