A fundamental study of Ti/TiO2/PbO2 anodes
Résumé
Anodic electro-deposition of PbO2 is possible on polycrystalline titanium substrates but it is shown that the deposition may be locally obtained easily only on particular grains, and more difficult on others, depending on their orientation. In addition, it is shown that it is possible to modify considerably the structure of the deposit by incorporation of foreign oxides (such as ZrO2) in the PbO2 layers. Another way of modification of the deposit structure and reactivity is to use a plating bath containing fluoride anions
