Analysis of adaptive antenna using Electromagnetic Band Gap structures

Résumé

This paper presents the analysis of an adaptive antenna that is formed of a dipole antenna above a ground plane in the presence of Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG) metallic structures. Electromagnetic simulations have been performed using the Method of Moments (MoM) and the obtained results show a good concordance with those that can be determined when using antennas array theory.
