Fabrication and characterization of multi-walled carbon nanotube-based composite films for supercapacitor application
Abstract
As a typical carbon-based material, carbon nanotube (CNT) is widely used in electric dpouble-layer capacitors (EDLC) due to its high electrical conductivity. However, the energy density of CNT-based EDLCs in insufficient if compared with batteries. In order to improve the overall performance, conducting polymer (CP)/CNT is produced to further increase the conductivity by replacing the classical insulated binder (PVDF).
