Résumé
An approach to the analysis of the impedance of porous electrodes proposed by Barcia et al. [Electrochim. Acta 47 (2002) 2109] is reconsidered. It is pointed out that the impedance data are not sufficient to determine pore length (l) pore radius (r) and number of pores (n), since their analysis can only yield two combinations of these geometrical parameters: nr3/2 and
. However, if one of the geometrical parameters l, r or n is known from an independent measurement, the impedance data can provide the information for estimating the others.
