In situ Investigation of Crystallization Processes by Coupling of Electrochemical and Optical Measurements: Application to CaCO[sub 3] Deposit

Résumé

A novel experimental device used to study crystallization or electrocrystallization processes on a transparent electrode is described. This device allows simultaneous measurement of three in situ parameters over time, i.e., current, mass, and microscopic images of the interface between the electrode and the solution. The interest in this approach is demonstrated in the case of electrocrystallization.
