Spectral analysis of wall turbulence with a bi-circular electrochemical probe.

A method is proposed for the study of the spectral density of the velocity component perpendicular to the mean flow direction under wall turbulence. The method uses an electrodiffusion probe consisting of two semicircular microelectrodes separated by a very thin insulating spacer.
